Twenty Eight Life Lessons

One day last week while I was driving home I begin to reflect over my life and the lessons I learned. And on my 28th birthday(today), I decided to share with you guys the  28 life lessons I've learned thus far. I hope these are some lessons you can take with you.

Love you guys

1. You’ll meet many versions of yourself

 2. Own your skin

 3. Allow God to turn your mess into a message

 4. Learn to enjoy the Now.

5. Don’t spend so much time looking ahead that you’re missing out on the very moment you prayed for.

6. Stop letting your emotions rule you.

7. Never explain. Never complain.

8. There can beauty in getting lost.

9. Don’t shrink in a room where you were placed to flourish.

10. Don’t be afraid to outgrow people.

11. Don’t allow other's opinions to stop you from doing what God has called you to do.

12. Be present.

13. Allow yourself to love and to be loved.

14. Your peace is important, protect it.

15. Trust God’s timing.

16. Never lose your sense of wonder.

17. Vulnerability is not a weakness.

18. Say no more.

19. Sometimes we don’t need to win the battle, we just can’t quite the battle.

20. Sometimes you have to get back to your child-like ways where anything was possible.

21. Sometimes what you want can’t produce what you need.

22. Live your life unattached from the approval of others.

23. Be strong enough to let go, and patient enough to wait for God to fulfill His plan for your life.

24. Stop allowing fear to stop you from doing the things that you to do.

25. Anything that costs you your peace is too expensive. Learn to let it go.

26. If you don't take care of you, you cannot take care of anyone else, nor can you fulfill your calling or walk for your purpose in life.

27. Don't let your circumstances determine your faith, but let your faith determine your circumstances.

 28. Stay committed to the things you wanted to do for yourself.
